I'll compare when I get delivery.

They are indeed shinny.

The head on mine is more of a matte finish where the handle is shinier. The quality seems great , finish is solid, and it feels good. Couple of tooling marks inside the cap but that's really minor to me. Especially considering what they're selling these for.

Probably won't get a shave with it until tomorrow night, but I have high hopes,

Mine arrived yesterday, the geometry looks the same as the previous, but I notice a bit of a difference in the way the safety bar is machined. If I remember correctly the SB was rounded at the top part which is under the blade. I like the handle better because it fits in my stand. The old one was too fat at the bottom. Overall quality looks better than the first batch.

A shipping label has been created but no movement yet.
Some delay on my end!

Same here, but I'll bet yours will get to Vermont before mine gets to Washington State coming from NY. Big Grin

Got mine yesterday (in Florida). It's a cool looking razor!! Shave was very nice ---better than I expected--- nice BBS with no irritation. Used a 7 O'clock black blade. Hope others get theirs soon. Great buy for $40!!

Italian Barber and Joe are wonderful people to do business with, but what I don't understand is Maggard's or PAA and other companies are very busy as well and and they're able to ship immediately I don't understand why it takes so long if you're that busy then just hired more people, that's a good thing

Lol. You guys are lucky. I'm only using a forwarder and don't expect mine before the month ends. Any delay is a bummer, but it is what it is.

No doubt. EVERY time I go to the IB website, the shipping delay notice is there. They might as well just change their shipping policy to say "Shipping times are at least 1 week no matter where you live" and not even bother with the notice. It's not really a big deal to me though. I can wait a week or more for shaving gear. It's not like I'll ever run out of stuff to shave with any time this century!

Ever run your own small business? There's a bit more to it than just hiring more people. I don't think a 3-7-day wait is excessive.
