Has anyone tried the Rocnel Gems and have anything tyo say. I'm a HUGE fan of the original Gem Micromatic and am hoping this Rocnel is aggressive. I have heard the ATT version is Mild. Anyone have any opinions to share?

The ATT version hasn't shipped out yet. I'm curious as well since I'm one of the suckers who bought one. Tongue

Where did you hear it was mild? Any links to reviews/videos?

I watched ilather on YouTube. I find his reviews to usually be right in line with my own views. Plus that goody reviewer Bustwr that sings that song, he did a shave off wityh it and an old Ever ready. He butchered himself with the Ever ready and loved the ATT. The Ever Ready he was using i.have and it's on the milder side if mold. So with Chris's review on ilather and watching Buster , I am going with mild. Plus i think when AT&T does something as a one off level of aggressiveness, they try ro. rog o mild to appeal to more people.

I love my Micromatic because it's like a strait man. That thing is about as aggressive as it gets.

OK I have seen both of those. I never could get along with the MMOC though. Every other GEM I have I love. The MMOC always gives me a rough shave.

If you like SE razors, this razor is a notch or so more aggressive then a British Ever Ready and a notch less then the RX with a pro blade, yet handles the Gem blade smoothly offering a comfortable shave that you could use daily.

The only issue is that you have to be careful when putting in a blade. There is very little room for error on the sides, before you tighten the blade set screw down be very sure the blade ends/corners are inside the head. If one end is slightly off and sticking out a smig you will cut/scrape yourself.

Finally.

When I first saw one of his videos I said, is this some kind of joke, is he joking? But then, I noticed that people are watching his videos and vendors sending him stuff and I wondered, what is wrong with them? Can you rely on someone's opinion regarding shaving stuff when he has 5-10 facial hairs? I had the same facial growth when I was 13.

Either way he enjoys it and gives some reviews about what he thinks. Mass facial hair or not lol. If e isn't shaving any hair and the stuff he uses doesn't irritate his skin I am likely to believe the non irritation argument out of him.
