Shipping out a new one would have cost them less than 100$ but now there is a 7 page thread on how they handle this case.

From a marketing point of view, this is really poor advertising by Rockwell.

You are not getting the point.... All he needs to do is show proof of purchase that is it and they will replace it. Proof of Purchase how is that not clear enough.

Recommend the OP buy a Game Changer 0.84 SB.

I'm not saying that the OP is a scammer but sometimes innocents get caught up because of the scammers.  The scammers' hammer is always that they'll trash the vendor/company on social media and many give in to avoid that.  Its like negotiating with terrorists.  I think that companies are entitled to protect themselves and rely on the terms of their warranties.

An example of scam comes to mind - I know someone who owns a wine store.  they have had experience where someone comes into the shop on a Friday and says they have a special event on the weekend, maybe an anniversary or they're going to propose marriage or something like that and they want a special wine.  They'll make a big production of how important the moment is planned to be and then buy a very expensive bottle of wine - sometimes into the thousands of dollars.  All good.  then on Monday they come back to the store with the opened bottle with about a glass poured out of it and they will be very upset.  The wine is off and the important event was ruined, its a big drama, lots of anger and they want a refund.  The wine store is interested in good customer relations so they will give the refund... after they do a chemical analysis of the wine in the bottle to make sure its the wine that is supposed to be in that bottle.  They've had experience where people will buy that expensive bottle, drink it all and refill it with cheap, bad wine and demand a refund.  Customer relations is important but nobody needs a customer like that.

I think its unfortunate that some innocent parties who's only mistake may be a little carelessness in record keeping wind up paying a price because of the unscrupulous few out there who do try to take advantage of companies.

I certainly don't mind the terms of the guarantee. but unfortunately I am not Nostradamus to read thoughts and the future.
written, our razors have a lifetime warranty. I found this. but where does it say that our razors have a lifetime guarantee if you prove to us that you bought them from us?
I haven't met problems before.
any and every company did even faster and much more than I wanted.
I'm not going to the bank to ask for an account statement. I am sure that rockwell will say that 60 days have passed long ago, since two answers to your letters demanded a month from us and we did not answer the third letter for more than a month and did not answer at all, there is no guarantee.
I will put this razor in a prominent place in my house so that it always reminds me that in our world there are still those who smile at you and whisper sweet like honey words in your ear until they get your money.

Any modern bank would have an online portal where you can pull this information very easily.

While I think no less of Rockwell based on this thread, that is solely because I never regarded them with any respect. Their quality places them on a scale with Harbor Freight and the feedback from various people having been taken over the years speaks for itself. Frankly, if somebody tried to place one in our PIF, would refuse it. Our recipients are already experiencing difficulty and don't need more misery from such a firm....

I am not a fan boy of Rockwell by any means I have a 6S and it shaves better than some of my higher end razors and Rockwell is a reputable company. What bothers me is this entire situation with OP on which he started this thread with nothing, but excuses and now it is a corporate card????? You still can get the statements within seconds even with a Corporate card.

Rockwell will replace the razor with proof of purchase just like any other razor company in the world would do and I am calling BS on this entire story with the OP I am sorry, but he facts are the facts. I hate it when a thread like this comes about on a company that really does not deserve it. I cannot imagine if this involved a Wolfman razor oh my god all hell will break loose in this forum and everyone would be shamed and cursed at for even saying anything...you know it is true.

if I were rockwell, I probably would of replaced this razor by now. it clearly looks like a manufacturing defect to me and when/where it was bought doesn't really change this fact..

You said you paid cash for the razor. What good would a bank statement be?
