To me the original Roam smelled like someone tackled me and then ground my face into the dirt and grass. That is not a pleasant memory from childhood.
In all fairness, I have rated five soaps (out of 250) that smell worse than Roam and several that are just as bad. However, that still puts Roam in the bottom 10 scents out of 250. Although I like the Omnibus formulation, I won't be adding Roam2 to to my collection.

First, let me say that I very much liked the scent of the original Roam. I thought it was a very manly scent and was a great weekend wear for me. I was very sad when it went away. Plus, it reminded me of when I used to chase down RayClem and push him into the dirt...always a good time. The new Roam 2 is different from the old one. I don't think they're really in the same ballpark at all. The new version is called Rome 2, but it bares little resemblance to the old one. If you are interested in the scent profile, you definitely should try it, even if you didn't like the original version.

Yeah, for nerds like me, there were always plenty of bullies to go around. Perhaps you were one of them???
