REX Ambassador // GROUP BUY

Mine has arrived and ready for delivery in the UK on Monday. I had to pay a pretty harsh £42 in customs fees. I expected a fee but, oof, that's a lot. This country sucks.

The fortunate part of it is that, even with that cost included, it's still cheaper than buying it from Razor Emporium directly at full price or buying it in the UK at Connaught. It comes in at roughly £190-ish with the customs fee + shipping included. I'd have had it for £150-ish if we didn't have such a crap customs system here though!

Why couldn't you have taken the customs fees with you?

Mine finally landed in Australia - first impressions are very positive, although I did not get the 10% discount voucher...not sure if everybody got one, or if they were distributed at random?

Received mine today! What a beautiful piece of work this razor is. My invoice was indeed stamped with the code, which I'll probably use when RE releases the stand. Sadly, I don't have the serial number featured in the video but am curious as to who does!

So the Rex Ambassador has become my favorite adjustable. This is the first adjustable that I’ve changed settings between passes and got a close comfortable shave. Today I tried wide open for the first two passes day dialed it back to 3 for the final pass and touch ups. The razor was smooth for being wide open, and best of all my trouble spot was smooth (how I judge if I like a razor)
