Sticking with a 3 traditional 3 pass shave, WTG, XTG and ATG ended in a near BBS. Since I had the time, I went back and touched up my trouble spots and ended with a smooth irritation free BBS shave. I think I am starting to get the Timeless OC dialed in. I have found that a steeper angle ( handle closer to the face) works better for me. The shave today was very close and more importantly very smooth. In comparison to the Wolfman OC, the TImeless OC seems to have a larger sweet spot in terms of angles that provide a good shave.

Now that I have the angle dialed in the Timeless OC razor is really starting to shine.  The angle required is steeper than my other razors which took me time to figure out.  The Timeless OC seems to have a wider sweet spot on the angle than my Wolfman OC with increased blade gap.  Using a steeper angle the shave with the TROC is very smooth and super efficient.    In fact it rivals my Cobra Classic for closeness and efficiency.  I hope everyone has a great Monday.

Shave # 14 with the TROC

Another fantastic shave with the Timeless OC.  Sticking with a 3 pass shave with minimal touch ups ended in a BBS.  Since I figured out the correct angle TROC has proven to be one of my most comfortable and efficient DE razors.  The fit and finish of the razor is top notch and it shaves as well or better than my other high end SS razors.

Had a fantastic shave this morning with my Timeless Razor Scalloped Head Open Comb (thanks again to Doug@Timeless for all his very helpful customer support), and just got an email announcing that they now have milder base plates.

I ordered the Scalloped base plate in the milder blade gap (.68mm). I have both the Smooth Cap and the Scalloped Cap, with one straight base and one open comb base (the 'Master Kit') and these are in the original .95mm gap. The Scalloped head with the open comb at .95mm is in the pic below.

I'm looking forward to trying the Scalloped base with the milder gap, although I don't find the original .95mm gap to be too aggressive, although you know the blade is there, which, to me, is a good thing.

Shave # 18 with the TImeless OC

A really great shave this morning was the perfect way to kick off  an early start to the weekend.   After 3 passes and minimal touch ups I ended up with a near perfect shave.  The Timeless OC is very efficient providing smooth and long lasting shaves.  Some comparisons might help.  I find the Timeless .95 gap OC to be smoother and more forgiving than the Wolfman increased gap OC.  Both of these razors are exceptionally efficient but the Wolfman has a smaller sweet spot for the correct angle.  The Wolfman is smaller and sleeker while the Timeless OC with Scalloped top cap looks so cool.  Doug@Timelesseally did an exceptional job with this razor.

when you say "steeper"...do you mean your hand is more angled (down) towards the floor, or more (up) towards the ceiling?

Batman, a steeper angle is with the handle angled down towards the floor and shallower is with the handle up, more parallel to the floor.

By steeper I mean the razor handle pointed more towards the floor.

Thanks for the reviews guys. Placed an order for an open comb scalloped with stand. Looking forward to it.
