Fast forward to 3:10. There is no way I could shave that fast with a MMOC. Dude even buffs his upper lip at 9:40 pretty carelessly.

Old thread, I know.
Is the Flying Wing the same as the Bullet Tip?
Different names for same razor?

Thanks!

I believe that it is, with the Bullet Tip being a modern nickname. I believe that the old ads refer to it as the Flying Wing. Hopefully others will comment and be able to give you a more definite explanation.

I have a few of these razors. I think my favorite is the Flying Wing or Bullet tip with the guiding eye (3rd from the right). Ive read it being called a few different things. The Gem Razors just take a little time to learn. But after a time I found I can use them all without any issue...

That's quite a nice collection! And they look very well kept. Nice!

My Clog Pruf is the1941 Chrome 12 teeth variant.
My razor for today's shave, incidentally.

I used the Peerless, 1946 version of the Clog Pruf, for several days the week before Christmas. Wonderfully smooth and a great razor!

I definitely get the best shaves with GEM razors, no doubt about it!
I just ordered a pack of 100 Personna PTFE blades from Connaught... Wink

yup, I agree fblais, you got to have enough PTFE blades! I just restocked as well. I plan to use my oldest GEM, a Damaskeene (what I call it) for my New Years Day shave. That razor is almost 110 years old, but gives me smooth, comfortable shaves!
