Evening all,
Thanks for the comments, feedback and sharing of enjoyment of our soap. ronb85 we had an Obsidian go out to the Greece which it didn't seem to enjoy (the heat) too much. You'll see that our soap contains coconut milk and, if exposed to too high a temperature (as it was in Greece) it (the coconut milk) can sometimes cause a whiff of ammonia. Absolutely nothing to worry about and a couple of suggestions if you think your soap has been exposed to high temperatures: remove lid and place somewhere cool overnight. Better still, a good few hours in the fridge door should balance things out nicely.
As an aside, I will be reviewing the amount of Vitamin E I incorporate in to each batch. I add it for its skin loving properties but may add more in order to better preserve (protect) the soap.
Thanks again everyone and happy shaving!
Kerry.
