just to clarify, that's not entirely true, at least from my understanding.  the person who bought DFS from Matt a few years back ended up breaking his arm or leg (I forget exact specifics) and couldn't devote his time into rebuilding the site.  this same individual also runs one of the largest forums in the world...just on a quick look, his forum is at 50M posts, getting almost 14k posts per day.

that aside, I'm glad you're enjoying the revamped DFS!

I cannot tell you how great it is to be reunited with this forum, and my old friend Freddy. He did a lot to help me out in the old days, and I never forgot!

Welcome back to DFS! I never visited the old DFS, but I am making myself right at home here on the new one. Freddy has also been extremely kind and helpful towards me as well, so we have that in common!
