Fair enough, my apologies.

Yeah, lets not close the thread. Yesterday I came to the conclusion TSN is not the right place for me. The mods, the missing posts, the closed threads, the special interests. I cant be apart of that. I choose to leave until they realize its a "community" not whatever they're doing. Lets not do that BS here.

I have no issues with James pricing or his way of selling razors. I bought both my Wolfmans aftermarket and have been extreamly happy. This hobby has the most waitlisted gear ive ever seem. Just goes to show the great people that are hand making these items. "Create the disease, than sell the cure" Thats pretty cool in my book. I always have the option to wait, buy aftermarket or not at all. I dont see my wolfmans really ever depreciating in value. But the value for me is in the quailty of the shave. The fact people will pay half a G for it, is a bonus I suppose.

Don't wait to long to sell. I recall when Cobras and Mongeese were scarce and fetched very high prices.

Pretty much I agree, the manufacturer can produce and sell as he sees fit.  He chose, it appears, to load up a few "high profile" fellows- some have 6-7 very customized razors, while telling everyone else to wait in line. So I can still see why some folks who have been told by him to wait patiently for over a year are so irritated.  I'm not one of them.  I'm so over the buying frenzy- too many times with the Panna Crema soap releases and Razorock limited runs of the past- I don't want to have anything to do with him.

I ordered what I find to be a much nicer razor that so far in my dealings, appears to be made by a much more put together operation- Timeless Razors.

Side note-  it still would be nice to be one of those special people who exchanges community hype for unlimited product access. Wink ergo, a shiller at large.  Lol.

I'm doing fine, thanks.

The mods don't need to address the definition, it was my post and how I perceive your random post here and on B&B.

No posts in a year on B&B and then 3 in a couple days all showing off the RX razor. No posts here aside from the one that was previously deleted and then a SOTD showing the RX. What would you call it? Schilling, promoting, hyping...Call it what you want, you are without a doubt drumming up interest in the upcoming razor and the only reason you posted them.

*** when they are all sold out in 30 seconds...I'll be sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the crisp SOTD post of the 3 newly acquired extra special versions for us all to behold and praise***

New2theScene I agree with you on the Timeless Razors, I got the 'Kit' with both heads and base plates, and it is a beautiful, well crafted razor. Plus,  Doug@Timelessot them to me quickly, and provided really great customer service when I had a few questions. Outstanding.

I bought my Wolfman after market, paying a premium, and I'm happy I did. Again, outstanding quality-a different razor than the Timeless, to be sure, but I don't think anyone getting either of them would be less than thrilled.

What I appreciated about the Timeless was that they were in stock! And I got mine quickly. And they're beautiful and good shavers. I suppose I'm a bit childish, but when I want something, I want it now, if not soonerSmile

I don't blame James for the delays in providing the Wolfman, in fact, I admire him for not compromising his quality standards. Some have suggested that if he raised his prices, he'd have less of a wait list, but he hasn't done that, and again, kudos to him. It just means those of us who want one (or another one) will have to wait, or pay a premium.

People here like Hobbyist above hate to see threads closed as it makes us more regimental and more like other sites. But when people are asked to drop a subject which has been beaten to death and get back on topic or the thread will be closed, and 5 hours later the subject comes back up yet again to throw the thread off topic, that is enough.

Thread closed.
