I prefer the 4 inch soap containers.

Some vendors choose to use the 3 inch tins.  So, I move the soap and label to a larger, empty tub.

Am I the only one who finds that the brush loads better and the lather making is much more satisfying when the soap is in a 4 inch tub?

I just tend to use my smaller sized bulb brushes for those 3" tubs but yes, I prefer the larger ones to load from the tub.

I've taken to scooping it out with a 1/4 teaspoon and building the lather in a bowl, so the tub dimension don't matter as much to me.

I prefer a wider container and this is the one that works pretty well with loading up soaps. I don't use very large brushes in general if that makes a difference to anyone.

The black one below was made by someone I knew at a studio and she made it when she was actively making ware in South Korea.

I much prefer lower profile 4in jars myself. I hate the tin jars that WSP uses, personally.

Too bad you lost touch with the Korean gal, that container is stunning. Would buy a few given the opportunity

I like the wider tubs too and like you I moved my WSP soaps into Coltainers.  Only thing better than a 4 incher is a 5er!
