Looking to try something new, preferably from an artisan whose products I may not have tried yet. A few that I have been looking at are Turtleship, Noble Otter, Oleo, Ariana & Evans, and Soapy Science. Any thoughts from those of you that may have tried a few of these would be greatly appreciated.

Noble Otter (Barr Barr for scent if you ask me).

I was highly impressed with their original formula. They have recently gone through a reformulation which I heard was better than first one. In case, I think their soaps are great.

Also, Grooming Dept if you haven't tried yet.

Tried and enjoy the following from your list: Noble Otter, Oleo, A&E, and Turtleship. Should you decide to continue expanding your "coverage" I would like to recommend some additional soaps (if of course you already have not tried them)

Sapone Di Paolo is going through some changes, and will soon be known as Eleven, with a new tallow-based soap formula. (The balms have also been revamped, and a splash will be available.) I’ve been testing the soap for several weeks, and it is very, very good. Same applies to the new balm.

Of the ones you mentioned, Oasisdave, I have a few shaves each with Ariana & Evans and Oleo Soapworks. The goat milk (A&E) and duck fat (Oleo) soaps have been quite impressive, as have some of the scents from Ariana & Evans (Grecian Horse especially).

Turtleship and Soapy Science. Both are worthy additions. I have not used the others on your list.

Turtleship is great. I forget the name off the top of my head but the milk tea type scent was awesome I thought. Consistency and performance to me was similar to B&M or Cold River.

Of the one's you mention, I can only speak to Turtleship. While the scent may be "simple" (which is fine with me--medium to strong imo), I find the performance excellent on all levels. I will be adding other Turtleship options to my inventory. They do offer samples.

When you run the range of their soaps, you wont stray far from them for long.

I would go with Noble Otter only because that's the one I'm most interested in trying. The new base and scents seem to be getting rave reviews.
