Compare it to another synthetic for me.

Plisson?

Satin Tip?

Nathan Clark ubersoft?

PAA Duro/Teddy Bear?

Stirling?

I'm familiar with those.

I have experience with the Plissoft and from your list the Plisson and Stirling Kong. Fibers on all three just about identical. The Plissoft knot is just a bit smaller than the Kong's. Both have more backbone than the Plisson. I greatly prefer the handle on the Plissoft to the Kong. Overall, the Plissoft is the best synthetic I've used and my 2nd or 3rd favorite brush overall.

I'll be using the RR Plissoft and $20 Stainless razor with 89 head for tomorrow's shave.

Oh yeah, GIT and Amici are perfect scents for me.

If the brush works out, it will be my Travel/Camp brush. The handle was severely rubbed from being in the cardboard box (sides and bottom), but most came out with a little acrylic polish and a cloth. For $10, I'm not too concerned but want others to know in case they encounter the same. It was similar on a second brush that was ordered.

I saw the same thing on the 2 brushes I got as well. not a huge deal since the brushes were $10.

Hey @bruce and andrewjs18, Mine too (on the scuffing). Bottom was the worst. Although those sort of things do bug my eye, for $10 it is still a great deal.

I only mentioned it as I hasn't seen it from anyone. If it had been a $50+ Brush, I'd have returned it or asked for a replacement.....it was that scuffed.

Once I got home, 5 min with some Maas and a Q-Tip and the scuffing appears gone.

Hmm, that sucks. Mine doesn't have any scuffs on it...

I judged it too soon. I've been using it daily now for a couple of weeks and it's just fantastic. I loved my Plisson but thus has eclipsed it handily.

Got mine yesterday and used it today. It blew my mind and changed my view of synthetic brushes almost completely.

Agreed. I was amazed at performance of this brush. It's my first real synthetic and am glad I finally gave in.

I won't be spending $90-100 on a custom handled one or a Muhle, not sure why as they are just as good as badgers costing 10X what RR is charging, but it's a mental thing.
