Here is my Razorock Gamechanger .68 Mirror Finished took me over 2 weeks period of time in between family life and things around the house to get it finished just right.

I didn’t take any material off nor I used much of micro fine wet sanding but lots of heat from heavy duty dremmel, grease and different type of bits of muslin wheels not wool pads as it can sometime leave mark or lines as you polish.

Also high level patience and attention to detail is needed to bring it like jewel type polish.

Hope you like it and for me it’s a another Canadian Made Razor to have  Happy2

Take Care

Alan H

P.S Next I’ll try to get Lupo SS .72 with Barber-pole handle sometime in near future that would look nice to have.

Acrylic Stand for my Gamechanger I actually like it’s a change. I did include one felt pad inside on the bottom and one on side as you can see to keep razor straight.[Image: mqCAehk.jpg][Image: UFMXBcj.jpg][Image: iLFNdQK.jpg]

Fantastic job Alan. The Razorock razors are great. I have the same razor stand from IB which will hold just about any razor. You should start a polishing business..

Amazing job, my first thought was it looks like the finish on a Wolfman razors (at least in pics, need the lotto's help to see one in person, lol!).

Very professional work, truly a masterpiece.

Although ,I’m not a fan of “jewel level”
finishes ,I ‘ve to admit that this is a really fine job done there ,Alan.
Bravo !

BTW ,this is an older GC model ,right?
It does not sport the slot at the bottom
of the baseplate, like the current ones.

I’ve lightly “polished” also all my RR
stainless razors ,using just a gentle
automotive polishing paste and a microfiber
cloth.Just to take away that “smokey veil”
that comes with most of RR stainless steel razors .Odd thing ,the BBS and the new gen.
Lupos come with much better finish ,than
the rest. That smokey veil was not there .
Noticeably “shinnier” !
Thus ,I’m really eager to see the result
of your master craftmanship on a new Lupo .
Too bad that I live across the pond ,in Greece.
I would have send you mine, yesterday!
And keep in mind ,I -usually-do not like shinny things...
2 weeks of work,huh?
Amazing !

I’m happy to here on DFS community and do this at the moment as I’m searching for job and enjoy my Wet-Shaving  Happy2

I think I’ll still continue to polish razor even once I get the job but turnaround might be week or two
till I get it done right as I like to say lol.

Many Thanks

Alan, here's a tip to help you. When responding to a particular comment of someone's, click on the + sign of their post and then click on post to start your post. Then start typing your response but below the bottom of their quote. It will quote the person and then notify them you responded. Just like I did here with yours Happy2

Forgot to mention to you it does have slot at the bottom for the washer it’s a older baseplate which I prefer a lot more.

Spite of fact having a slot for a washer under baseplate it’s really nice give a look and protect from scratches.

I wish if most of artisans would make it like that in my view tho.

As per Lupo .72 SS with BarberPole Handle I’ll finish it in a way to bring that satin feel in hand and Shine.

I think Razorock Gamechanger & Lupo Best Bang for it’s Buck  Happy2again YMMV.
