I'm more interested in seeing the crooked band and the bloom differences. Obviously you can't photograph softness....but we still haven't seen pics of yours.

All evidence has been buried. All tapes have been erased.

I'm not sure how to start this.  I'm literally sitting here with three other gentleman spread out across the country and we all have this brush.  I have mine in the hotel room, they have all examined it, felt it. Etc.... It's the same brush.  Mine isn't softer or has less backbone or more than there's does.

For what that's worth.  The big thing here is are we really going to grasp at straws on a silver tip badger brush this loaded for 60 bucks..... There is a reason IB slants and now these brushes sell out.... They perform well and for the price.... Can't be beat....

Addendum to my prior review; this brush dries fine in hot and humid weather easily in 24 hours when your better half doesn't have your bathroom window open and the blinds drawn hence, letting humidity and heat inside said bathroom.

after calling them he said he left it here. he has down syndrome and im teaching him to shave here at my house. he saw my rr brush and wanted one which is why i bought one for him. i did not know he left it in the spare bathroom here. so i took some pics ill post in a few. but i think i figured out one reason they feel so different backbone and splay wise one has a large glue bump in the middle and the one we got today has almost none its there but very tiny almost doesnt even stick up past the handle. the first one i got has a large bump you can easily feel in the knot. that is the one that feels so much stiffer with more backbone.

one on the left is one we got today one on right is my original. both have had 4 lathers now. and both are fully dry as far as they feel.

First off your a great dude.  Helping those less fortunate whether physically, mentally, or financially, is what we need more of today.  Secondly, while not terrible, I think your first picture and last picture clearly indicate that's probably not how the brush should be.... My pictures mirror yours as to the brush on the right..  I'd almost send these side by sides to IB and see what Joe Says.  These are made by hand, human error plays a role.
