any opinions? I need to stock up on some bars of soaps. these soaps seem to be fairly cheap at $2.99 for a 3.5oz bar.

I'd agree that these are great soaps. I tried The Rock and Son of Zeus and both had plenty of fragrance and lasted me for about 3.5 weeks. Which is longer than my Dove for Men bars usually last and they have better ingredients.

I also read somewhere that they're made by Saponoficio Varesino for RR. And SV makes some high quality stuff.

The Razorock bar soaps are excellent. Had a bar of Son a of Zeus that lasted for 75 showers (I'm a nerd and kept count). Recently picked up Sandalwood and a bar of Thermal Mud when IB was having their black friday sale, got them for somewhere around $1 each. Even at full price they are well worth it, at $3 it is one of the more inexpensive artisan bath soap option.

sheesh...that's like 2 1/2 months! I'm lucky if I get 3-4 weeks out of a bar, most of the time.

I've bought many other larger and more expensive soaps that don't last as long. I don't find it to be drying, out of the couple I've used the scents are noticeable. Bang for the buck one of the best soaps out there.

Yea I was very surprised it lasted as long as it did. Artisan bath soaps tend to be on the softer side, but this is a tripple milled soap. The Maggard brand bath soaps were the shortest lived (about 1 1/2-2 weeks).

It does help if you use a poof or loofah and keep the bar outside the shower. I usually use a poof so the bar doesn't come in direct contact with the water, really helps with longevity.
