Recently I have been rediscovering Cella croap. It is just fantastic. I am very interested in their splashes and balms as well.

I am also interested in Proraso Red. Splash/balm. But I could be interested in any of the different colors if I could figure out the difference among them.

I get the impression that Cella is better than Proraso. But, Proraso recently redid their formula. All the comparisons I could find were of their old formula.

For anyone who has used both of these product lines, any input you could provide about the advantages/disadvantages would be much appreciated!

I've tried both the old and the "super formula." Don't notice much difference between the two Proraso formulas, to be honest.

I really enjoy the new Proraso "Single Blade" series: shaving cream, balm and cologne.
I have all three fragrances: Azur Lime, Wood & Spice and Cypress & Vetyver in this respective order of preference. They are among my favorites.
To me they are definetely an improvement over the standard line.
I use Cella soap but don't have the AS/Balm so cannot comment.

Proraso:
Green - menthol king
Blue - muted aloe
Red - sandalwood
White - oatmeal

Sandalwood and menthol the 2 most popular

My issue with Proraso is Chinese ownership. Used to enjoy their products but won’t be a party to state fascism and slave labour which is how they make their money
