So I’m not allowed to have a Den.... but I do get half the counter and a big ass drawer!
I absolutely love it! I did some den cleaning and sold off all my DEs/SEs with the exception of the DB, Vector, and Nodachi. The vector to me is the perfect head shaver. It’s very efficient both in terms of shaves and passes required due to the large head. I also think it looks bad ass. It’s remarkably smooth as well.
Do you own any SEs?

You and I have almost identical preferences in razors. The vector is my only AC safety razor (love it also!), and the L2 Sabre is my only GEM style SE (which I also love!)

The GEM format is pretty different. The blades are very large and thicker than DEs. Goes through my hair like a light sabre, and no chatter whatsoever. I'd say the L2 sabre is worth trying in your case.

Same! I call it a nodachi but it’s a Masamune with a nodachi top cap.
Sounds Almost like a SE and a shavette had a baby...
