Polishing?

I use my dremel with felt wheels and jewelers rogue compounds. Different colors depending on the job. If the piece has scratches I’ll start my first pass with black then move to red or blue. I use the dremel with the flex shaft attachment for ease of use. This was last weekends project. I’m novice but great advice on this post so far.  Start practicing on an item you don’t value.

Here's the 6s I did sitting next to the basic polished Wolfman. 
The handle on the 6s didn't get as much attention as the top cap.

Absolutely you can use a Drexel tool to polish a handle. I use a cheap set of colored compound bars and the felt disk pads. On something like the bulldog above, there is not much shiny area to high-polish.

I don’t use a Dremel on knurling. You could, but I am trying to preserve the aggressive grip. Instead, I use a polish like Flitz and q-tips. Mostly following the pattern of lines. It takes awhile.

I also did not use the Dremel on the knurling, because of the grip, like you.
 I just left the knurling as a contrast of sorts.
   I'm interested in how guys are doing this sort of thing, without alot of pains.

Considering your Rockwell can stand it's ground next to a polished Wolfman, I'd say you have a knack for it.

Here’s a favorite Weber Wave I polished with the technique I mentioned.  Notice that I’m not really trying to remove scratches in the knurling, just give it some shine.
