Brian in our talks based on what your using and your beard I’d say go with either the new polished finish Yates Percision razor with both the milder M plate and also add the more efficient H plate. Buy it with one plate and then just add the other plate. A lot for your money. . They are both very smooth and the H plate would be more than efficient enough for you on 2 or 3 days growth. The other razor to consider if you don’t mind spending a little more is the Timeless Polished Titanium and get the . 95 in either the DC or the SB. It’s nicely efficient and very smooth and also very maneuverable. Sone really like the Karve with different plates and I’ve tried a few but I’ve never connected to it. So ultimately your choice my friend. Just my 2 cents.

If you have a rounder and symmetrical face, Timeless SS in any gap and comb can work but for my angular disfigured face, requiring maneuverability especially around the nose and ears combined with efficiency and mildness, H&S N075 can’t be beat.

Realize some may find it odd but by far the best Blackland razor used to date is the Dart; it makes my top 5 at any price despite being very inexpensive albeit not super mild

Thanks for the recommendation Smile

I may try Colibri from Homelikeshaving or Timeless one, blackbird being so aggressive for me.

Lupo from Razorock could be another option but I want to try negative blade exposure because GC.84 has positive one

Thanks Frank for you careful and thoughtful opinion Smile

Yates Precision razors have too thin handle for my hands to try ? even though I like the appearance.

I may give a try to Timless or Colibri from Homelikeshaving.

which plate for Karve do you have and have you tried??

You don't need to buy the whole razor from Yates. You can any of their pieces, and add the handle of your choice.

Handle choices are limited due to the construction of the baseplates

Edited as you may have meant any of their handles on the website.
