That's because some brands walked away from Pasteur's because they were discounting their products. I know Pinnnacle Grooming and PAA did for sure. Their may be others.

That’s true Dom but from what I was told and thats all I’ve got is the owners never gave permission to discount their products so from their perspective it isn’t good for the other vendors who maintain the agreement they made with the vendor not discounting their products. In my case I’ve never experienced that, so I don’t have any cards in this game so I’m good my friends but a good point.

Agreements made about MAP/discounting is definitely a separate issue.
Another problem from the vendor side is aged product that isn't moving and then finding out the maker discontinued the product or came out with a "new and improved" version rendering the old worth a lot less.
