Indeed a very good razor

First time in my wetshaving journey I found a DE razor so easy.
It looks to have the auto-pilot with AI installed on.

But ... I'll never buy It.

I have heard equally as many words of derision as words of praise about this razor.  Since I have never used one, all I can judge by are it's appearances.  It is a heavy 2 piece razor, with a long slick handle that cannot be separated from the head...and it is pricey.  Since I like light 3 piece razors with short handles (and I'm on a budget), I don't see myself buying one soon.  But if someone wants to lend me one for a week or two, I'd be happy to write a review on it.  Toodles.

Hi, how does this compare to say a blackbird or other high end razors? Any thoughts? Thanks

Pils Shaving 101NL is very different.
Blackland Blackbird gives a "normal" feeling.
Way more aggressive, but with a usual balace for a SS razor.
Pils has a unique engeneering, with most of the weight on the head.
And is much more easy to use, and smooth.
At first shave ...

Nice ideas how to hack the Pils handle.
A new handle can be switched.
It's better the upper shape is little enough to match in the head.
To not change the balance, some o-rings can help the grip on original handle.

Good to know. I’ve considered one but am not sold on the look. Where would you rank it against other artisan razor? Is it a daily driver, etc
