Pearl have released an Open Comb version of their Flexi.

Who is buying and I'm eager to hear reviews!

I received mine via Amazon. It has a nice rattle within the handle and after the 4th setting, it no longer increases gap going to level 6. I messaged them on social media privately but no one has seen the messages. I’ll keep you updated.

I did shave with it and it was amazing. Extremely efficient and smooth.

I got my oc flexi direct from pearl. Noticed the dial on bottom to tighten the top cap has a grinding feel to it. My solid bar flexi is smooth like butter. Contacting pearl has been a nightmare. It's like nobody is there. So much for my 30 day return or 5 year warranty. I don't think it's an honest company. Save your money don't buy there junk.

I've had my Flexi OC for a three months. The only issue that I have had (which I was pretty happy about BTW) was that the handle came loose after the first shave, so when I re-loktited it, I grabbed the opportunity to allow it to be overclocked.I have taken it into the over-clock zone twice and although it is fun, frankly it doesn't need it.

When the SB version was first released, I found it a bit heavy but I think that we have gotten used to heavier razors, so I'm fine with the weight of both of them now.
The pattern on the handle not only looks great, it's also very "non-slip" and rivals the best of the knurled handles out there.

Low down at 1, there is a bit of blade feel and it gives a very decent weekend shave.
I generally use it between 2,5 and 4 depending on how many times the blade has been used. My normal 2-Pass plus some buffing gets me an easy BBS.
Taking it into the overclosk zone, there is lots of blade feel, but its highly effecient and provided that you have mapped your beard, its capable of a 1-Pass BBS. You do however need need to use a light touch and pay attention because if you don't it will snap at you!

IMHO - Its a great razor and has slowly climbed the ladder in my den - to the point where its certainly amongst my Top 10.
