I can see why it's tempting to bring back an icon that has become urban legend among a small group that
loves limited runs.

But why would you want to piss off so many T1 owners (passionate fans) who are now in possession of a rare,
collectors item which will then no doubt depreciate? You do want them to continue being loyal customers.

Why create the perception that this is a brand that has nothing new to offer in terms of innovation and design
and is backward-looking instead of forward-thinking?

From a marketing perspective, I see more upside in announcing and pursuing a totally new design.
New name, new story...(even if you keep the T1 geometry, let the world know it's new). Marketers do this
all the time.

You open up Paradigm to new users...you plant a stake in the ground that says progress.
You take on none of the baggage that the T1 might have had (I have read some feedback about it not
being as smooth etc).

In short, he should do something NEW!

I get your point here!!

Also new design with 17-4 Geometry with new Paradigm ornamental handle design would be cool in Ti!!

One point - it is not an artisans responsibility to control the secondary market for products.  If people bought razors at multiples of their original cost it a decision the hobbyist made on their own.

Might I add, I have paid a lot for 3 of my paradigm razors well above the original going rate.

I am also interested, satin finish.
Handle maybe different as suggested.

BUT, why not a NEW adjustable titanium razor at Paradigm innovation and shave quality? I would like to be a part of that process.
Or why not a slant Paradigm?
Or Slant Adjustable?
Those are all more exciting to me.
I am sure Andy can manage doing all those.

I was referring to those who would have purchased theirs new and seen it appreciate over time... not those who
paid high premiums to purchase on the secondhand market.

Perhaps a "Hybrid Ti", Dual Comb with one side being the Ti1 and the other side being the Ti2, with a straight Paradigm handle. That's a concept I'd consider, the best of both worlds.

Guys the only consideration is Ti1 the way it was and satin or polished.

He has new razor designs he has worked on that will be prototyped.

I'd love to see it remain untouched. Those who purchased Ti-1s are Paradigm's precious first customers and they deserve to be respected and protected.

I completely disagree. Why shouldn’t other people get to experience the same joy. Why be so greedy and selfish. For example, ie it’s like Michael Jordan shoes- by your reasoning- they shouldn’t let the newer generation experIence the same joy of the re-releases of some of Michaels early Nike MJ’s.

That’s why I give so much respect for brands like Blackland re-releasing the Tradere SB & Oc. In my opinion it is good for wetshaving to share the heritage and history.

This was not sold as a limited edition item what is with all these posts? Literally says on the site it will be made again in the future.
