ShaveMD let me use his paradigm Ti 2 and I must say I was impressed. It was very smooth and efficient, to me the Ti felt softer than the 17-4 and they both are great shavers. It might be the best DE I have used compared to my wolfman and Ti timeless. I have to say this razor loves up to the hype. I hope to get one when they get re-released in March.

I have the 17-4 and love it to bits, my very best DE, ever. Would you recommend buying the Ti II when it comes out purely on performance?

Depends if it's worth the money to you. There is a noticeable improvement in the shave. Yes, I'm biased, but I think most people that have used them both would agree.

Paradigm Ti II is my best shaver, a little more aggressive than Timeless 0,95 OC but the head design allows it access to areas around nostrils that Timeless head stack height prevents (or at least makes quite difficult).

Any chance on just buying the head? Not a fan of the handle currently available for the titanium

No, but the handle is being modified somewhat in appearance and to make it "grippier." I'll post pics when available.

I have not found the handle to be an issue. I typically rub a little alum on my finger tips of my “off” hand to stretch some areas and have simply added to the other hand while I’m at it. As long as I keep soap off my hand all is good.

I see where folks are coming from, but A - it’s freaking gorgeous B - it’s better than the 17-4 handle and C - it hasn’t been an issue for me.

Any more pics of the SE prototype???

I have no problem with either handle but excited to see what’s up and coming.

The revised handle will be really nice, too. Maybe nicer. Many people are emphatic about the slipperiness, though both rinsing soap off your hands and alum work great!

I'm holding off on posting pics of prototype until it is complete. There's just too much half ass stuff otherwise, like the non-existent scary corners of that blade (for those who saw it). It's going well, hopefully not too long to completion.

IMHO, a complete offering ( handle and head) is a good thing and shows the company to be a serious one, but some of us really like to couple the head with different handles. It's kind of a game with me to see if I can come up with a better looking altogether package. Surely the original handle will find a good use.
