Paradigm Shaveware Titanium Single Edge Razor

How about a comparison to the aluminum Colonial General?

Today was my 3rd shave with the Paradigm Titanium SE and the best one thus far. Very comfy, smooth, and good efficiency. I had a bad first shave with it that I blamed on being rushed for my morning shave before work that day.

I was on the fence about this razor but I'm glad I pulled the trigger. Absolutely stunning and love the design Andy.

Ok I’m gonna go straight to the point:
Used mine already 5 times With feather Pro guard blades, initially it took me few minutes to find the right angle (again this is just the second SE razor I owned, previously owned king cobra).
The way to describe this particular razor would be and is right now “the smoothest in my collection “.

Again I’m comparing this against (Blackbird SB, Wolfman .74 OC, CG lv3 SB, CG lv2 SB, Tatara SB, ATT S2, ATT R2 and Timeless .68 OC and Rex) I’m very impressed with this razor it went above and beyond on how smooth it is, I have sensitive skin (matters to me a lot) my Wolfman and Blackbird were the smoothest razor before this one arrived, I really liked the last 5 shaves I had so far, Also the razor is very efficient (2 passes BBS except my tricky areas where very razor I owned struggle before, I just do some cleaning after).

The weight in my opinion is perfect & well balanced (this is my first titanium) I was afraid it would be to light but that’s not the case in fact feels very good in my hand outstanding design as well (love it).

The blade fits tightly with perfect alignment super cool sliding design. (The engineering, quality and machining are perfect at the highest standards).

Very good maneuverability no problems there even under my nose good feedback as well.
I’m very happy with this razor I’m glad I pulled the trigger on this one, definitely a very luxurious high end razor. (a keeper)

I still need to try a different blades to go with shoot me some recommendations if you don’t mind.
The only thing that the razor needs is a very nice well done stand to go along with.
(Would be nice if they make one for it)
I texted Phil back and forth on this matter before buying it (I’m very very picky) so glad I did.

Everybody is saying that Feather Pro Supers and wire guard blades fit. It's funny, because Pro Supers jammed the cap on the prototype. Anyway, I am "super" glad to hear it tee hee. Also, I can't thank you guys enough for the positive reviews and your support of Paradigm. I will try to get out some stands.

Andy, I think you need one more production run on this.

What is the maintenance like on polished titanium? Is it more difficult to scratch? Will light cleaning with a toothbrush and dish soap cause scratches? Also...do you think there is any danger of the spring detents getting gummed up with soap residue etc over time?

I am a big fan of paradigm shaveware in general. The SE is amazing. Smoother than your DE razors and more efficient. I love the design. My only concern is with the ball catches on the base plate. How durable are these. I ask because I have the same mechanism on the closet doors in my house. It seems like they are always breaking and needing replacement. Thanks.

Ti is not the hardest metal, but it's not super soft either. The best way to clean it is Windex, believe it or not. You won't need the toothbrush. Just a soft cloth.

As for spring detents gumming up. The prototypes have been in use since February and are going strong. If they were going to gum up, they'd have done it already.

There is a stop on one side. It gives a click when closed
