Razor: Paradigm Titanium Diamondback
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: Knothead Brush Works "Kentuckian" / Timberwolf
Soap: Sir Henry's Kentucky Rain
AS : Witch Hazel + DCCS Small Batch Shave Tonic
Fragrance: Prada Luna Rossa Black
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,946

Kentucky Rain because....................it's pouring in KY and this scent lifts my spirits. The razor's weight is 2 ounces or 58 Grams. The handle length is 92 mm. The finish is not quite where Andy wants them but they will be there for those shipped. That said, It looks amazing as far as I'm concerned especially for a mass produced finish that will be consistent without effecting geometry and therefore the shave quality. Ah yes the shave........... WOW SOOOOOO worth the wait. It's been a hot minute since I've had my 2020 Diamondback and selling it was a big regret for awhile. It wasn't sold because I didn't like the razor but life happens. Those regrets are COMPLETELY erased now as this to me is the 2020 Diamondback on steroids. The comfort of the shave with this in Titanium is immediately noticed and as the shave progressed the effectiveness of the whisker removal was apparent as well. Just 1 shave in but already I'm Stoked.........I was after the 1st pass to be honest. Hats off to Andy Paradigm Shaveware for a winner of a design and finish product. Looking forward to a couple more shaves with 1 on video hopefully Friday so it can be seen in action before forwarding it to dtownvino Mike. Have a great day !

I am only concerned about the quality of the finish. I am not worried about whether it has a mirror finish or not. I just want it to be consistent and even. I appreciate your attention to detail in checking. I hope the final product will be excellent.

Just thought I'd chime in. Titanium has a tendency to wear a bit under friction and pressure, and that’s what happened here during machining. In extreme cases, it’s called "galling." In this case, it's not really visible except under a microscope or after polishing.

In any case, Paradigm has a great vendor for finishing, and we are on it. Dave has what is in effect the final prototype. The razors will have a bright, uniform finish, without the risk of excessive metal removal that accompanies hand polishing.

Living on the edge
A video review at the point would be cool.
Interested to see the finish of the prototype up close to see what the imperfections look like.

I understand the curiosity but it would be inappropriate for any of us to show it.  The final product is all that counts.

Ti and shiny...It looks amazing on the photos . Thanks for sharing those.
Hard to imagine how shiny will it be when testing finished? More or just like that.
I love shiny Titanium razors.
