I love my SS version so much I bought the original Ti on one of the blogs.  Andy I hope you will be able to up production this year so more people who want your razors will be able to get them, and not on the over inflated prices of the secondary market.

I wholesale them to Phil. That's it. I can only imagine that he has received a few unused returns and put them back into stock. He does not ask my opinion.

This much I can tell you. He would have done a lot better if he had ordered twice the number of 17-4 that he did, and like four times more ti. But Paradigm Shaveware was kind of an unknown, and it was a crap shoot. He was afraid they were going to end up on the shelf. His original order was for 300 of the 17-4, then he halved it from an abundance of caution. Everybody lost out. Paradigm, Bullgoose, and prospective buyers.

Now that the demand is obvious and Paradigm is now considered a premium razor I think many of us hope the gem style razor will be easier to get for all of us. You have done a marvelous job Andy I guess that’s the Problem you have produced 2 great razors in a short period of time before anyone knew about Paradigm Keep up the great work.

Quite possible that a razor or two was placed in another location that were found later? I am pretty sure Phil is in the “making money” business.

I believe that Phil at Bullgoose said in either this thread or another that he held back a few (3 to 5) of the 17-4 razors in case one that was sold was somehow damaged or got lost in transit. Once everything was good with the prior sold razors he sold the last remaining ones that he had held back. No conspiracy here as this wasn't done to make more money off of them or somehow manipulate demand, but purely for customer service purposes.

Makes perfect sense to me as to why he did this as I'd probably do the same thing myself.

Yup. Nothing nefarious going on.

Are there any pictures of the razor disassembled showing the underside of the cap and the top of the base plate?
