My wife found this recipe and asked if I could bake it for her.

It is a soft bread dough made with milk and an egg. After rising it is rolled out. I spread diced sun dried tomatoes, minced garlic and cheese on it. Rolled it up jelly roll style and then cut a channel lenghtwise.

The bread get formed into a figure 8  and allowed to rise again before baking.

This is the dough prior to the second rising. I baked it on parchment paper. Love that stuff for no sticking and ease of clean up.

This is the finished bread.

And cut to serve.

It was delicious and will be made again.

I looked up "Pane Bianco" and it means "white bread" in Italian. Which is poor description of this stuffed loaf.
