Thanks, Jay!

I'm not sure that's settled yet. Prices will appear when the pages go live. I expect the Phantasia brushes will correspond to pricing for standard Vesuvius counterparts, which can be found on our website (de-select "In Stock"). Vesuvius brushes with the special engraving will probably be a little higher.

P.S. I just looked. Standard pricing for a 28 mm Vesuvius PK-47s is $240, fora a standard 28 mm Vesuvius El Dorado is $250, and a standard Vesuvius 26 mm Chief goes for $180.

How does the Paladin select badger compare to Shavemac silvertip 2-band? Do the select badger knots have any smell?

I generally don't go down the rabbit hole of comparing knots we set in our handles to other knots.

Note that "Select Badger" is a label we chose because no one else was using it. It simply means a knot we select. We did that because most, if not all, so-called grades (e.g., "High Mountain White", "Manchurian Badger") have largely lost meaning.

So, how one Paladin Select Badger knot might compare to some particular Shavemac Silvertip 2-band knot might be completely different than how a different Paladin Select Badger knot compares to another Shavemac Silvertip 2-band knot.

We use Knot Codes: https://www.paladinshaving.com/pages/knot-notes.

I will never repressent that any knot we set into a handle is entirely devoid of smell, but none that we have set over the past couple of years has, in my opinion, been strong.

Thanks. I agree with you on the various grade labeling.

By the way, these brushes look outstanding.

I found out the hard way that if you refresh too much then you can no longer access the site. I was in the final step of checkout when I was refused connection to the website due to too many requests (between me and server) and could not complete the order and lost out. Even got an email from Paypal to complete final step:

That happened to me on a different site a while back. Had to stop refreshing for 2-3mins then it reset.

Sorry to hear you missed out - I know that frustration as well - it’s no fun.
