Paladin Shaving is a small, family-owned and operated business based in the Midwest US. Our focus is on quality, not scale. Every brush we make spends the majority of its time in production being worked directly by hand. What we create, however, is also enabled by use of precision CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Manufacturing) and CNC (Computer Numeric Control) technology, which we employ in designing, machining, and engraving handles. Whatever tool, machine, or technology is utilized to achieve a desired result, we pay meticulous attention to every aspect and detail of the work carried out in our shop (aka Dark Holler Design Works).

Re the next release, we're aiming for Sunday, November 6, probably in the early afternoon Kansas City time.

I'll post further details (e.g., more-or-less exact time) as we resolve them. Note that this is the first time we'll manage a release from dual sites (KS and OR), so please make allowances if we have to work out some kinks in the process.

A lot of times vendors do this kind of thing and don't narrow down the time frame. We want to purchase the products so we keep checking in hoping to get lucky. I do want to try one of your brushes so I'll be looking for one this weekend. With some determination and a little luck it could happen.

So I wanted to say thank you for giving us some idea on the time frame. I've checked the computer all weekend long for things like this and I can assure you that it sucks.
You've given me back a Friday night as well as a Saturday so that I don't have to keep checking the computer.

dfoulk, do you have a Twitter? If so then follow Paladin and set it to where you get a text when they post. You'll be able to enjoy your weekend and just keep your phone on you and check all your texts!

FWIW, although we can't always announce with high confidence the date on which a release will occur more than 2-3 days in advance, we'll never do one without a couple days notice, and we'll always post the target time at least one day in advance. Sometimes stuff can happen to force modification of plans, but in those cases we'll put the word out as fast as we can. We're very respectful of the anxiety and frustration that can attend pursuit of one of our brushes. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
