Today first time back in the shop after my hand surgery. Still have be very careful not to overdo with the hand, as I do not have the full strength back and have a weigh limit of 10 lbs.
First and only one today was this one here. Using the Oumo Sparrow knot. This is the 29 mm, these are quite short knot, and it is set at the max loft of 52 mm, knot size at exit is a bit over 30 mm. Tomorrow it gets the first use., will report my finding here.

I've used the Sparrow for a while now and I have to agree with some points but disagree with others.

The recommended loft of 51/52mm is way too low, I've removed my knot from the handle and set it at 55/56mm.
This improved splay considerably and it's much nicer to use now. However I still think the density is too high and should be reduced.

The overall knot is 68mm in height, about the same as a badger knot and even when set at 55mm loft, there is enough of the base in the handle to not reveal the glue bump.
So I can't agree with that statement that the knot is not tall enough.

What knot?

This is 29mm, and looks very nice. But different with mine Sparrow hair.

The Sparrow knot in 27mm. It‘s the same hair as in your picture, it‘s just a blurry photo that‘s why it looks wavy.

Does Oumo make anything similar to the Wald Synthetic A1 knot?

I find their web store on Aliexpress difficult to navigate. Any suggestions/ help much appreciated.
