I have now had 3 shaves with this razor from Oliworks.  I have used the medium plate each time and I plan to use the mild and aggressive plates soon.  But as to the medium plate in this razor, all I can say is that it was fantastic.  The razor had no blemishes, scratches or chips.  There was no dimple on the bottom of the handle.  The weight and balance of this razor was excellent as was the knurling on the handle.  Even when wet and soapy, the handle was secure in my hand (and I am a klutz).
I used a Dorco Prime blade (1).  There is some blade feel with the medium plate.  This blade feel, to me, was more of a notification that I had the right angle rather than an uncomfortable feel from the blade.  The angles on this razor seem to be expansive.  I was able to engage the blade at a steep and shallow angle.  That just added to the pleasure of the experience and the efficiency of the shave.  Today's shave was excellent and enjoyable.
I am not a technician, so I can't give blade gap, exposure or all those great technical measurements.  I can tell you that the medium plate was smooth, comfortable and very efficient.  You can't ask for more than that.  All I can give you is my opinion that Oliworks has made a fantastic razor at an unbelievable price.  Whether or not you are a hobbyist or collector, novice or experienced shaver, this razor should have a spot in your den.
The picture below is a lousy picture I took.  The razor is blemish free.

Looking at your Razor Flinch it appears there is FINISH WEAR Already???  Or is it Residue of Shave Soap I see.  One the Bottom of the Razor.  It is easy to see in photo that is a blow up of the actual size of Razor.  Curious??

DI, the picture i took is the problem.  For some reason the lighting was wonky.  There are no signs of wear and tear, no blemishes at all.  The coating was flawless.  I am just lousy at taking pictures.  I just took another picture.  Hopefully, you can see the difference.

TODAY WAS A RISK TAKING DAY WITH THE M3TEORITE- AGGRESSIVE PLATE

Today's shave was a back to back daily shave.  I decided to throw caution to the wind and use the Aggressive plate in the M3teorite razor.  To enhance the risk, I used the very sharp but comfortable Accuforge blade.  The result was just magnificent.  This razor is a wonder.  I enjoyed the medium plate but I have to admit the aggressive plate displayed  no more blade feel to me than the medium plate.  I used a 3 pass shave and the results were a BBS shave with no alum burn, irritation or discomfort and most importantly, NO BLOOD.
This razor securely holds the blade in place allowing for no movement or chatter.  The lather is easily removed through the very generous sized channels.
I will use the Aggressive plate a couple of more times and then try the mild plate, that should be interesting.
I have not changed my mind, THIS RAZOR IS A WINNER.

Wally cigarman I had the same pleasant surprise when I used the aggressive just to try it. I thought the mid plate would be the one for me on a regular basis until I used that one with no more blade feel, just as comfortable. Nicely done  Happy2

Oh yous guys got me second guessing myself. I passed over the aggressive out of fear that it would be too much for my pampered face, lol!

TODAY'S SHAVE WITH THE M3TEORITE AND A BLADE I REALLY DON'T LIKE- THE FEATHER.

OK, so yesterday was the risk taking day and it was spectacular.  How could I challenge the M3teorite even more.  Well, in my infinite wisdom, I thought let me get a very sharp blade that is always uncomfortable for me and I really don't like it.  For some reason, people keep sending me tucks of the Feather (thank you all, but please stop).  I looked at the culprit and took the chance of using it with the M3teorite.  I honestly had another blade ready to go because I had no confidence.  I have to tell you that this razor absolutely conquered that blade.  I had a very efficient and comfortable shave.  To be honest, the Accuforge and the Dorco Prime were more comfortable, but I had no issues with the infamous Feather blade.
Again, I used the aggressive plate.  (What good is a challenge without risk?)

My next review on this razor will be with the mild plate.  Now that should be interesting.  Will it be as comfortable, smooth and efficient as the medium and aggressive plates?????

I prefer  the Oliblade as an adjustable, but, darn, this M3teorite razor is a wonderful shaving tool.  What makes all the Oliworks products eye-popping is the quality, material and the PRICE.  You just can't beat that combination.

Good shaves all

TODAY'S SHAVE WITH THE MILD PLATE AND A NACET BLADE

I was going to post a review yesterday, but I used too many new variables and the shave just wasn't that good.  The biggest variable was using a Tatara blade.  I am sure it is a good blade for many, just not for me.
Today I used the M3teorite with the mild plate and a Nacet blade.  Going in, I figured it would be an ok shave, just not very efficient.  All I can say is that I keep underestimating this razor.  Unlike the Medium and Aggressive plates, the Mild had nearly no blade feel.  The clue that it was shaving was the audible feedback, which was very noticeable.  The razor glided over the skin mowing down the stubble.  All that said, the mild is a bit less efficient than the Medium, not a lot though.  I found that I had to do a bit more touchup buffing than with the other plates.  Yet, this plate gave me a BBS shave.
Oliworks has produced a wonderful razor.  It is smooth, comfortable and efficient throughout all plates.  Each plate has a variance of efficiency, which is to be expected.  I had no trouble finding the right angle with each plate.  The plates have a wide allowance for angle and should accommodate anyone's technique.
I have, very much, enjoyed this razor.  My preference is the Aggressive plate, but as the motto says YMMV.
Well Done Oliworks.

Outstanding reviews Wally! Thank you for providing such detailed helpful information.  It looks like Jorge and his crew made another excellent razor.  Good for them.
