Oleo Duck Fat - share your experience

Vida had a large wholesale order she was working on which probably resulted in low stock. I will say she ships quickly, two days door to door. Her labels have improved as well.

I only have Wholly Kaw DM, GroomingDept, Oleo Canard and some Haslinger (for travel) in the den. It’s that good for me. Definitely one of the top soaps made today.

I agree completely with frenchy. This soap makes some SUPER creamy lather that excels in all performance categories. I've used it the last 3 days in a row and am very impressed with it. It's also a very thirsty soap that can handle buckets of water, making it extremely slick. Post shave is also pretty much unmatched, IMO. And you can count me in the camp that prefers these type of scents. I'm not a real big fan of cologne types, so these suit me just fine. I just purchased three of these Oleo Soaps with the Canard base. I bought the Irving Park, Pucker and Shiloh. These are truly wonderful soaps folks. I really enjoy them quite a bit and feel like the performance is fantastic, maybe the best performing soaps I own.

Irving Park - This is described as a clone of YSL Rive Gauche and it just perfectly matches American Blend by Fine or CaD. This is a fantastic barbershop scent and its a nice 5.5 or 6 out of 10 to my nose.

Pucker - fantastic sweet juicy citrus scent with lots of lime and lemon. Its nice and stout too.

Shiloh - a stouter version of the AdP classic than many I've tried including XXX, Mickey Lee and others. This is the stoutness of scent I've been looking for, not super strong but it has presence unlike XXX which is about a 1.5 out of 10 scent strength, Shiloh is a definitely 5 out of 10.

Performance wise again, these Canard soaps are wonderful, I really enjoy them alot and get some really close great shaves with lots of slickness.

I know I'm not the best reviewer of soaps but I think you guys should give these a try if you are looking for something different.

I'm sure you'll be happy. I have Rougere and Shiloh and they're both excellent. I bought a second tub of Rougere for my son. For me the Oleo canard base soap is the most significant event of the year shaving -wise.

I was just at the Oleo website, they have plenty of Canard base in almost their whole line up in stock.
