It's an ABC Razor. Gillette had American Button Company make these style of razors from 1908 until the start of WWI I believe.

That is a beauty and what a great gift! I am like you Chris in that I love hearing the history if known. If not, can't help but think of those that used it before and imagine where it's been, what special events someone may have used this for [weddings, interviews, etc.]. Over 100 years and still around. So very cool.

Had my eye on a couple that were on Ebay. Just got really out of hand price wise for me. They are definitely beautiful razors though, congrats!

Absolutely beautiful, Chris.  Like kwsher, I always enjoy thinking about who owned the razor, where it resided, etc. As you said, "If this razor could talk..."  What a great gift.
