Nope, THAT is not THIS Smile Marco is a very common name here, after Luca (second place) and Andrea (first, rarely used for females too).

The (other) Marco's method is called the English method here, maybe because it works well with English soaps, which are traditionally hard. The concept behind it is to unify two phases in one: the brush loading and the lathering phase, meaning that the two phases are done together directly in the soap container, using enough water to allow for it. The lather it produces is very airy and blowed (cfr. the happy man on the Cella brick packing), good for straight shaving but not ideal for my tastes. I prefer to separate the whole soaping activity in three distinct phases: brush loading, lathering (bowl or face), and finally lather spreading (paint strokes).

Some interesting ideas on lathering. The recommended method of 40 swirls works for me but I think I should be a little adventurous.

I'm going to wait for some reviews on this. I love Blu and Rossa but so far, have heard that Verde is a bit less stout than they are as far as scent strength. I LOVE how strong Blu and Rossa are.

ANG69 I think you'll be ok. My first Nuávia Blu sat in a post office over a weekend where the lowest temperature here was 103 F (about 40 C).

It got here perfectly, and there are pictures of it in my recent SOTDs.

I've got the Rossa and Verde on the way from Marco at PannaCrema this week, and will let you know how they arrived: It's going to range from 106 F to 110 F (41-43 C) this week, so it should be a good test. Smile

Tried to check the order status, but my iPhone cannot load the Pannacrema website. Does anybody else have the same problem?
