I finally received my first batch of knots and I'm a little pumped about making these things.

This little beauty roll off of the lathe today. Just finished making this handle from a piece of dyed and stabilized big leaf maple burl. There was a void in the handle and I did a metal inlay with copper. The knot is a badger two band high mountain white Manchurian x 26 mm.

2 packages came today and I'm now home sipping some Woodford Reserve over ice. Happy to have my first 2 of 4 Grooming Department soaps and the awesome vintage soap pif from another forum !!

Loft looks a little high for me but Gorgeous work !!
