I have a Maggard 24mm synthetic shaving brush. I wet it about 2, 3 seconds under the faucet, then I squeeze the hairs to eliminate the excess water. I also give the brush a couple of shakes to also eliminate the excess water. After this I face lather a shaving cream, but I don't have enough lather for 3 passes. I'm using this cream: https://depotmaletools.com/en/prodotto-4...cream.html. What am I doing wrong?

I have never heard of that cream, so it could be the ingredients that could be causing the issue. How much cream are you using? You may need to use more than you think.
There is no harm in applying some more cream after your first or second pass.
Good luck.
Here is a video, using a good cream, that might help you.

Try using more cream to start with.
Try wetting the brush a bit longer, & try shaking the excess water out as you currently do. Next time try shaking the brush fewer times to leave more water in the brush. See which way makes better lather.
If your brush still is not making enough lather for a third pass, add an almond size amount & lather away!

I have never heard of the shaving cream you are using. Although they sell it as a soap cream for lathering with a brush, the active ingredient list is not one particularly conducive to lathering..

Coconut oil, Sweet almond oil, Eucalyptol, Menthol, Glycerin, Alantoin

I suspect it would work just as well without a brush as with one.

If you want a lather, get a proper shaving cream or soap. There are literally hundreds of good choices. See the soap and cream forum for some recommendations.

Product is the problem. I’ve used several creams like this one. Go for a better cream and you’ll have better luck. If you want cheap but outstanding , then I recommend Speick shaving cream in a tube. It’s less than $10 and you’ll be amazed at how well it lathers and how well it performs.

I've not heard of that cream either. You don't say how much of it you use. With most of my creams I use an almond sized dollop. You also don't say how you go about building lather on your face. I bowl lather so no expert on face lathering however both methods require adding small amounts of water slowly until the lather is the right consistency. It should look like yogurt with soft peaks and a nice sheen to it. Then you know it's properly hydrated. Get a cream that is mentioned on the forums frequently. I'm partial to Taylor of Old Bond Street. Also, Musgo Real is very good. Good luck.

I don't have a synthetic brush, so not sure how it compares... but, with my badger brushes, I was at first just running them under water for a bit before lathering. When I switched to soaking the brush for several minutes (even with squeezing out water), it made a huge difference in my lathering.

As others have stated, I would also suggest trying a different soap/cream.

It may be that you're not leaving enough water in the brush. One "flick" should be enough.

Maybe try building the lather in a bowl?
You can always add more product and more water. And by adding water, i mean dip your finger tips into the water and then shake them off into the bowl, so it's adding only a few drops at a time.

Some "brushless" shave creams (eg. "Cremo" and - I think - "Anthony Shave Cream") are designed to be applied to the face without a brush. If this is one of those types, it should say so in the instructions or packaging.

I get a "Can't connect to the server" message with that link, at the moment. That is not encouraging.
It's sort of ironic too, since a "404" error means that the server (if it could be found) can't find the page you ask for.
