New Timeless Razor Matte Finish

I just received notice that Timeless Razors is now offering all their razors in an optional matte finish. These guys really have been rolling out a lot of killer products, especially for being so new to the market. Bravo!

Got the email today. You would think the matte finish cost would be less but it's not. Matte finish is cheaper to make as polishing is more labor intensive.

I wonder if it feels slicker in use.

High polish can drag and cause skipping for me occasionally. Never experienced it with my Timeless, but I like Matte finish.

Not really. Matte by definition is unpolished. It's probably just bead blasted or something. But I agree with what I think you are alluding to in that it still takes extra work to make it look that way. It doesn't come off the machining process like that.
