New Stirling Finest Badger!

I emailed Rod earlier today regarding butterscotch handles and he told me that he has one already in the works.  Stay tuned for a 24 mm fan knot with a barbershop style butterscotch handle.  He sent me this picture as a nice preview.  I already have the 26 mm with 54 mm loft and wanted to get the 24 mm.  I may hold out for this bad buy to come in though.

Well my 24mm faux ivory showed up today. I did a couple of palm lathers and washed it with dish soap and then took it for a shave.

Out of the box this thing is softer, more dense, and better feel than my silvertip I paid twice as much for. I've palm lathered it a few more times and the minor funk is already going away.

I think I might grab one of the 26mm ones here soon. What a fantastic brush!

Any update on when the Butterscotch one will be available?

I received my new 24 mm Sterling Badger on Tuesday, used it Wednesday morning and ordered the 26 mm the same day!

The Mrs. just went through the closet where I have most of my soaps, mostly out-of-sight behind some other items. She had a hard time understanding what she was looking at … and I had a difficult time explaining what she was seeing.

No worries my friend, how many black shoes/boots does she have? If this doesn't work, threaten her with a beard!

I have both of the 26's. They are among my favorite brushes.
