I love mine as well. Also looks like Rod is sold out of those brushes and now the next batch will be the increased price ones.

Is it true that the next batch will be at the $39.99 price point? (Still a bargain in my mind)

Do you think the 26mm variant will be launched sometime this year?

Thanks!

I personally really never gave a Badger Hair brush consideration. Like most have said I expected I  would need to spend at least $60 if not closer to $100 to get a decent brush.  I was happy with my two Omega Boar brushes. Then I found the Plisson like synthetics and have been very happy thinking I was done.  Now this thread and it got me thinking maybe I need to try one.  I was this close to placing an order but I think the 26mm may be more to my liking, so I am happy for Rod that he was able to get his brushes sold and that new ones will be coming out.

I do not wish to derail the Stirling Brush Thread but I was on Italian Barber's site and noticed that they had a Finest Badger Brush with the same statement that it was an initial offering and in the future it would go up $10.00.  Are these the same knots, similar to what they are all doing with the Plisson like knots.  Not quoting but I thought Rod said he had to lower the price of the Kong to compete with some of the bigger players who can buy bigger lots.  I wonder if this will hold true to these Badger Knots where there will be a lot of pressure to hold the price down to compete as everyone starts to offer them.

I was also between the razorock and Stirling badgers. The razorock product line is pretty incredible and I've been very happy with everything that I picked up from them.

With that being said I ended up going with the Stirling and I absolutely do not regret it. It's a great brush.
