While I agree with just about everything in this article, I disagree with one. The term "pink tax" originated in urban areas where the cities taxed female hygiene products because of the extra effort cities had to expend to keep sewage systems going. While most of the "pink Tax" laws have been done away with in urban areas, this company seems to be co-opting the term for their business model. That I disagree with. Both males and females get jacked at the register when name brand shave supplies are bought. Hence the resurgence of wetshaving with SE, DE, etc and the associated Dollar Shave clubs.
There is a place in the market for these products and I hope they make a mint. I just wish they wouldn't have co-opted a term that was a descriptor for singling out women in another area of the bathroom.
