I asked him about that and this was his reply:

gvw755 yea, my design intent was to create a user friendly and ergonomic razor, not stay with “tradition” and make something that’s compatible with all of the other brands."


Good thing I never used the 10% off coupon. Too many good $100 stainless steel razors on the horizon. Why get one where you can't swap out handles?

I agree.  IMHO "tradition" = standardization in this instance.

Yeah, the 10-24 thread size stopped me from pulling the trigger as well. I am not in love with that handle and he said he might sell just the head at some point but there should be (in my opinion) a warning that the thread size will not work with other manufacturers products. I could imagine someone stripping a thread by mistake if they didn't know.
