On another shaving forum, Shave My Face, there has been some discussion over the past year of the possibility that Gary Young, a descendant of the original Simpson family, might make some brushes, hand tying knots with hair said to be close to the vintage Best grade and techniques from years ago. The latest word is that he might have some brushes available in August or September. If you're interested at all in following this idea, you might check out the thread on that forum.

Saw it there and thats very exciting! He said he will bring old simpsons models that were never released into production, as well as completely new models. And more interesting is that he says he will be hand tying the knots in the old school way that simpsons used to do way back then (which hasnt been seeing since the early 90s.

I already want one now!

Is there a web space he will be operating through or social media?

The new brand is Called: Nimmer Shave Brushes, think he said around late august or September he could have the first few brushes for sale. I searched and couldn't find any social media presence, yet.

This is quite exciting, John, as I consider the vintage BEST hair to be FAR superior than today's version.
