Have been posting, responding and enjoying the site for a few weeks now. Have received a lot of great advice, suggestions and opinions so far. My friend got me into this and has since really created an interest in me that unfortunately causes me to spend money. I don't do anything half heartedly and don't expect this to be any different. It started when my friend asked if I could turn a custom brush handle for him, which I did.  He apparently really liked it and suggested that I delve into this area to provide some quality handles for a fair price. I am retired and have no desire to build another business, but do enjoy the creativeness of woodworking and would like to see if there is any interest in what I may have to offer. Mind you, I do not expect to compete with the established makers, but would like to carve a nitch in a mid-range market that I see is available. All of my stuff is primarily "one-off" but can also take suggestions as to what someone is looking for.
I hope it is OK to post in the BST Threads, some of my makings. If so, I'll be posting what I currently have to offer.
I appreciate the camaraderie and friendliness on this site. Can't say the same for a lot of others...

As per Freddy suggestion, I will contact Andrewjs18 and see what I need to do to stay within the rules of the site.

Hi Knothead.  If you want to show and sell your handles then you should get in touch with andrewjs18 about becoming a merchant.  There is a minimal cost but he can fill you in on the particulars.  We hope to see some of your work here at DFS.  Welcome to the site. Happy2

Welcome to DFS! I’m always interested in seeing shaving handles that are crafted from wood. I am definitely looking forward to seeing your work.
