I'm not sure what your objection is Chopper. I'd personally rather not refill a branded bowl with a different soap. I'm sure a lot of folks feel similarly. Others wouldn't care, and that's perfectly fine too :p.

Why is that? Its a bowl. Is there some law I am unaware of you can't fill it with MW, some other brand, sand, water, or cheerios if so desired?

True grim, but speaking for myself, it would bother my sense of aesthetics to use a soap from a different brand in a branded bowl. I'm picky like that :p.

Seeing how Larry doesn't offer refill pucks could one just press a new soap into it or does that affect the performance of the soap?

Neo, what if you looked at it as, the manufacturer of the bowl is CRSW and not the manufacturer of the bowl AND the soap is CRSW? Then it doesn't matter right? Plenty of manufacturers make bowls, salsa bowls, pottery, scuttles, etc. I have a Dirty Bird Scuttle, but they don't make soap. Doesn't make any never mind to me, I put anything in there right? Same deal with the CRSW bowl. Look at it as a CRSW made bowl, that you put Tabac in, or Stirling, or what have you.

I imagine that would be fine jsanchez. I imagine you could just cut a soap out of the metal dishes and press it in the bowl.

The same issue came up with Nuavia. Some have been asking for refills, but the artisan doesn't want to offer them. In their absence, the bowl will have to be repurposed.

It makes perfect sense SCShaver, but I'm picky enough to want to match products lol. If I see a label with one brand, I expect to find that brand inside. It's the same reason why I don't attempt to refill expensive fragrance bottles. And I'd say the same thing about the Boellis bowl. If it wasn't filled with Boellis, it would lose a lot of aesthetic value for me.

Nothing, at all, preventing anyone using for whatever soap they so choose to.
My initial comment was if they wanted to replace it with more Cold River soap which would require them to send it back to Larry to get it refilled as he no longer offers refill pucks.
I should have made it clearer and I apologize. Blush
