New Brad Sears/Morris and Forndran 2XL arrived today.

This 2XL is a really beautiful combination of faux lapis resin with a tortoise band.  The resin has nice details and metallic elements. The M&F knot is surprisingly soft and compliant considering the low loft, ~50mm.  The first palm lather made a nice creamy mound of lather and the tips felt soft, but not too soft if you know what I mean.

I got a M&F today too. Hope mine shows that kind of clumping when wet.

That's a big fan. Really nice shape and curve to the handle. Mesmerizing almost.

Received this beauty yesterday and used it today. It is a2XL with an ivory handle and a tortoise band. Classic and clean in appearance. The knot is a finest bulb. What an enjoyable shave. Like a pillow on the face.

Thanks Todd and Michael. I used the 2XL tonight and it was very very good. The bloom is even bigger and whiter after tonight's lather. It will be interesting to see how it feels after a couple more uses. The handle is stunning and really feels great. I already like more than my M&F Style 1 size 3.

Beautiful brushes guys.

I received my 2XL from Brad last week and used it for the first time this morning.  This brush is absolutely gorgeous with both craftsmen displaying their talents and abilities at their finest.  The handle is both ergonomic and exquisitely finished with a classic design.  The knot is perfectly put together with excellently sorted hair.



My brush does not have gel tips and there was a hint of scritch in the first use. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if this knot ends up being very soft after a few uses. The density is not what I expected from the XL series, as all of my previous versions were stuffed more densely than a comparable Simpson Chubby. I think I would appreciate a bit more hair in the knot, but I don't feel as though it is lacking. I look forward to the Alibaba Finest and L7 Blonde to compare.
