It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...
Northeast, USA
6th shave with the Sabre and used the L2 guard as I shaved with the L1 yesterday. Just a simple flip and tighten the handle. The GEM blade has gotten better with every successive shave as the new Sabre takes full advantage of it providing smooth like ninja cutting efficiency. Easy to rinse and use while providing excellent tactile feel & grip at every stage of the shave. I'm more than pleased with this revamped creation by Blackland. This is without question a superior razor to the original Sabre. If one felt that the OG was OK but, not quite there especially in terms of shave efficiency, the remake will definitely get you to notice.

Great shaves to all...

Scentsless Shaver

This morning I flipped the safety bar from Level 1 to Level 2. This is my second attempt with the L2 bar, and it is the first time since I switched blades last Wednesday.

Wow, I am so glad I switched that blade and didn't do anything rash, like sending the razor back! While this shave had more noticeable blade feel, I got over it quick and had a really great shave. As Shane stated, the revamped Sabre bumps up the efficiency at L1 and L2, and I feel just a bit more blade or something than I recall. But it is not too much for me at these levels.

This was my 8th shave with the Sabre, and my 6th use of the current blade. I plan to continue through this coming weekend and stay at L2 until I think I need to try L3.

Very good debut for this new Sabre. With a reduced weight and a balance point that favours the geometry needed for this type of blade, I think it was a real evolution. First pass on 4 to remove a week's stubble and the following passes on 3. Good sensations, but I suspect too much for daily use for me. I will definitely be using 1 and 2 a lot more.

The USPS hasn't been kind to me lately.  I'm chalking it up to the holiday weekend - a Federal holiday - and hoping things will now resolve quickly.
