New Blackland Era

Much better to figure this out before launch. I am patient!

It's definitely nice to have access to a professional lab so the parts can be tested in a controlled environment and subjected to repeatable and measurable experiments. I'm grateful for having that opportunity through our manufacturing partner and it absolutely paid off here. At our stage, Blackland can't do this internally to anywhere near the rigor required. If left to our own devices we may not have found out prior to launching.

That's some great business practices. If Blackland wasn't already my brand of choice for razors (because of the great products) they would definitely be after this. That is thinking about the customer the product and the company. Defenitely going to get an Era after the first months and the stocks are regularized (and after some comments to know which baseplates will work better for me).

I preferred the look of the black finish but the raw metal color is cool too.

Same. I’m hoping to bring out a black version in the future, but it will have to be a bit more expensive to allow for the properly durable finish.

A question for you Shane: what is the new logo meant to be? Why the change from the old? I know you've thought it through... I just want to hear your thought process.

yeah, more or less. I've had it happen with facebook and instagram links. my guess is that it probably has to do with built-in browser protections now and it blocking their tracking stuff by default...just a guess though. it could also be the plugin we're using maybe has some bugs in it.
