B&M. Any scent that sounds good to you, but a classic is Saville.

John Wayne would have used badger fat that he got squeezing the badger as he used it to lather his face, shaved with his knife and moved on. Talk of lavender or second notes might have got ya kicked off the trail.

These are some of the ones I would recommend in no particular order

1) Sapone di Paolo - Pulito or Bosco
2) CRSW - Juniper
3) P&B - Spitfire
4) Shannon Soaps - Woodlands
5) Desmonds Barrow - Joie de Vetiver or Mossly Lime
6) Mystic Water - Vetiver & Oakmoss
7) Eufros Premium Select - Fougere or Kasbah or Tobacco
8) Soap Commander - Respect or Confidence
9) L&L - After the Rain

Yeah, I know it's a lot of choices but you honestly can't go wrong with any of them

This looks like a "must-own" soap list of new artisans! Thank you for including your scent choices, too. I might add a few old favorites like B&M and Stirling and my den would be complete!

Thanks and yeah I think it pretty much is. I've been trying to acquire at least one from some of these new artisans that are causing such a stir on the boards lately. I still would like to try Tallow+Steel, Razz Bocket, Bufflehead and Savon Du Bon Berger

TALLOW & Steel is changing there formula. They are going to a softer formula which I think is a mistake. They were a great , top of the line hard soap. Not many Artisans make Hard Soaps. Now they are just 1 of how many great Artisans who make soft soap?
So disappointed.

Also Obsessive Soap Perfectionist is a great product.

Where did you hear about them changing the formula? Hate to hear that since the current version works so well for me.
